The Companys strategy is to commercialize its products both independently and in collaboration with major pharmaceutical companies. The product pipeline is focused on viral diseases, cystic fibrosis, inflammation, autoimmune diseases, cancer, and pain. The Outsourcing Manager will support the outsourcing and contracting needs of clinical development programs. This position will be a member of the clinical project team and lead the vendor evaluation and selection process for an early or late phase clinical trial by completing an RFI/RFP process and analysis. This individual will be responsible for the generation, negotiation and execution of clinical trial contracts including budget and legal terms under the supervision of the Director or Associate Director. The individual will ensure that the scope of services in the contract meet the needs of the project. This person will remain on the project team throughout the project and support the team in vendor management and issue escalation by negotiating change orders and organizing vendor meetings when needed. This position may be required to work under tight timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provider selection for Clinical Outsourcing contracts. Lead RFI and RFP development for Clinical contracts. Participate in contract and budget negotiation and management under the supervision of the Director. Process Change Orders. Participation in department initiatives Excellent organizational skills and communication skills. 2- 4 years contract experience in CRO or pharmaceutical field. Experience with MS Word and Excel required. BA/BS in business or life sciences preferred.
