Job Description
General Accountabilities:
Responsible for operational execution / maintenance of applications within relevant IS functional areas. Ensures effective problem analysis and resolution in a timely fashion. Escalates issues when needed to appropriate levels of IS / Business and present proposals for resolution to Management.
Leads and effective and efficient requirements gathering effort (user, business process, performance requirements, etc.) from business users.
Translates complex business requirements and designs effective solutions. Develops (configures / customize) and unit test solutions based on standards and SOPs.
Participates as necessary in the validation matrix role to independently test and validate solutions to ensure fulfillment of all business requirements, compliance of regulations and quality of solutions.
Ensures that global IS procedures and policies are followed consistently as defined by QMS. Follows the appropriate global regulatory guidelines such as 21 CFR part 11, 210, 211 and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
Identifies and implements means to improve the qualities and efficiencies of IS processes, systems and results.
Collaboratively works with internal employees, vendors, consultants to effectively implement solutions. Develops mutually productive relationships in the workplace and contributes to the team. Cooperates and acts as a team player and gains trust of peers.
Collaborates with key business users to proactively communicate the status of ongoing and daily support and problem resolution.
May perform matrix management and project roles for local / global projects. Provides off hours support as it relates to IS functional area.
Participate in the definition, design, development, deployment and support of the Siebel CRM (Compass), Siebel Analytics solutions and all inbound and outbound interfaces to the Siebel (Compass) systems.
Provide primary support through daily operations for the following IS functional areas: Siebel tools, Siebel EIM, Siebel EAI, Siebel Anywhere, Siebel Workflow, Siebel Data Model and Siebel interfaces such as Pulse, IRMS, Third party vendors, SAP and CARS (IMany).
Qualifications:
Training and Experience:
BS degree in a computer-based discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems) or a technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent combination.
Minimum of 2 years related experience working with the Siebel CRM and / or Analytics product suites (Pharma vertical) with demonstrated advanced knowledge in the role of Systems Analyst.
Siebel CRM application development and configuration is required preferably using the Pharma vertical from Siebel.
Demonstrated knowledge of Siebel tools is required.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of PL / SQL Oracle Package development is required.
Pharma / Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience preferred.
Siebel CRM Pharma version 8.1 is a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of Windows 2000 / 2003 Server Administration is a plus.
Experience working with automated testing tools and Business Process Mapping tools are a plus.
Strong skills in the areas of communication, problem analysis, delivery on results, self-development, adaptability, flexibility, global perspective, strong time management and organizational skills.
Strong skills in the areas of Project Management, Requirements Gathering and Test & Validation are required.
Must be knowledgeable with all aspects of SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle).
High level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office products (Project, PowerPoint, Visio and ARIS)
